| KIIFB 2016 17 Improvements to Mannarakulanji Kozhenchery Road 0/000 to 15/700. Mannarakulanji Kozhencherry is a major district road in pathanamthitta district, connecting two state highways. It connects Mannarakulanji in Punalur Moovattupuzha road (SH) to Kozhencherry in Thiruvalla Kumbazha road (SH). It will open an easy way to sabarimala pilgrims. Total length of road is 15.7km. The famous Thiruvabharanam and Thanka anki passes through this road. This road passes though villages and hilly terrain. This road connects agricultural rural land to state highways. It serves thousands of people, who depend on agriculture. It will open shortest path to state highway, thereby increasing their productivity and product value. The up gradation is partial construction of base and sub base with granular sub base and wet mix macadam. The wearing course is 50mm thick DGBM and 40mm thick BC. The road was partially scarified (57663.15), and partial restoration of sub base and base with GSB (4848 cum) | |||||
